Introduction to Our Accessibility Statement.
Working With Me Limited is committed to making www.workingwithme.co and the Working With Me platform usable by as many people as possible, including disabled people and people with neurodivergent ways of working. This statement covers the public website and the platform behind it.
Our commitment to WCAG 2.2 AAA
We are working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AAA across the site and the platform. Level AAA is the highest tier of WCAG and goes beyond the legal minimum that most UK and EU services are required to meet.
If any page falls short of that in practice, we treat it as a defect and we fix it.
Accessibility features
The platform includes a set of built-in features so people can adjust the interface to suit how they read, focus and work.
Three reading skins are available alongside the standard interface:
- Focused, designed with ADHD in mind. Reduces visual clutter, removes auto-playing animations, increases click-target size, gives clearer progress feedback.
- Structured, designed with autism in mind. Predictable grid layout, no animations or transitions, strong borders, explicit labelling, flat design.
- Easy reading, designed with dyslexia in mind. OpenDyslexic font, increased letter and word spacing, line height of 1.8, no italics, no justified text, optional cream, blue, pink or green background tint, optional reading ruler.
Beyond the skins, the platform offers:
- Three font size options: small, medium and large.
- A focus mode that reduces the interface to a single column and hides non-essential elements.
- Light and dark themes, with text contrast tested to WCAG 2.2 AAA in both.
- Respect for the operating system reduced-motion preference.
- Keyboard navigation throughout, with a visible focus state on every interactive element.
- Touch targets at a 44 pixel minimum across the platform, lifting to 48 pixels in the Focused skin.
- Body text at 18 pixels in a sans-serif face, for comfortable reading on phones, tablets and desktops.
Colour is never the only carrier of meaning on the platform. Status badges use shape, label and icon as well as colour.
Reasonable adjustments
Under the UK Equality Act 2010, we have a duty to make reasonable adjustments where someone would otherwise be at a substantial disadvantage in using our service. If you need an adjustment to use the site or the platform, please tell us and we will work with you.
Examples of adjustments we have made or can offer include a longer onboarding window, an alternative format for written content, a one-to-one walk-through of the platform, or a reading or working partner present during set-up.
European users
The European Accessibility Act applies to digital products and services made available to consumers in the European Union from 28 June 2025. We have built the site and the platform with this standard in mind. If you are based in the EU and the site does not work for you, the same adjustment route applies.
Tell us
If something on the site or the platform is not working for you, please tell us through the contact form at www.workingwithme.co/contact.
If the contact form itself is not working for you, you can also reach us at hello@workingwithme.co. We will accept your message in any format, including a voice note or a video.
When you get in touch, please tell us:
- The page or feature you were using.
- What you were trying to do.
- What did not work, including any error message and any assistive technology you were using.
We aim to respond within five working days. If a fix needs more time, we will tell you what we are doing and when to expect the next update.
How we test
We test the site and the platform against WCAG 2.2 Level AAA using a combination of methods:
- Automated checks during build, using Lighthouse and axe.
- Manual keyboard navigation across every page and modal.
- Screen reader testing on VoiceOver (macOS and iOS) and NVDA (Windows).
- Colour contrast measurement against AAA targets, in light mode and dark mode, and across the three reading skins.
- Live user testing with disabled and neurodivergent users before each major release.
We re-test on every release and after any change to a shared component.
Known issues
If we find an accessibility issue that we cannot fix immediately, we will list it on this page, along with the workaround and our timeline for the fix.
At the time of this statement, no known issues are open.
Enforcement
If you contact us about an accessibility problem and we do not respond within a reasonable time, or you are not satisfied with our response, you can escalate the matter under the UK Equality Act 2010 or the European Accessibility Act, as relevant to where you live or work.
In the UK, the Equality Advisory and Support Service can help you understand your rights. In the EU, your national accessibility enforcement body has equivalent guidance.
